Rick is a results-oriented geoscience leader and subsurface integrator with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is a thought leader and industry expert with deep expertise in sequence/seismic stratigraphy and reservoir characterization in a variety of basins, environments, and business stages. With experience in global Exploration,
Development, Production, and Research, he has held various technical and leadership positions over the course of his career and has a proven track record. In addition, he has been active in academia, holding different adjunct professor and guest lecturer positions, and and is the author of several highly cited publications. His extensive body of work reflects an integrated approach in which subsurface studies are complimented by the incorporation of outcrop geology, modern depositional systems, and knowledge of geologic processes. Rounding out his professional skill sets, he is a renowned coach, mentor and team builder. Above all, Rick remains an avid student of geosciences and is passionate about his work.
